The footy superstar has thrown his name behind the sales campaign led by Ray White Williamstown director Joanne Royston, starring in a marketing video to generate buzz around the high-end Footscray apartment block.

With the team's training ground, Whitten Oval visible from ARCO’s rooftop and just a short stroll away, Marcus is hoping to see some passionate Bulldogs fans snap up the apartments on offer.

“The western suburbs is a dynamic area that’s continuing to grow and develop. Having spent a lot of time in Footscray, I’m here playing and training just around the corner, I’ve seen the growth in the area,” Marcus said.

“There’s a great connection to the community in Footscray, there’s coffee shops, great pubs and restaurants, and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s only going to continue to grow and evolve.”

Joanne is currently selling apartments 102, 204 and 502 of the 66-68 Pickett St, Footscray development. Unit 102 is on the market with a price guide of $1.15 million, while unit 204 has a price guide of $850,000 to $930,000. Unit 502 is a 427.6sqm penthouse with four bedrooms and a private rooftop oasis which has a price guide of $2.5 million to $2.6 million.

Designed by renowned architect Ben Robertson, ARCO is an exclusive boutique development offering sixteen generously sized three-bedroom residences, and the four bedroom luxury penthouse. Joanne has already sold two apartments from the building with sale prices just over $1 million.

The boutique residences also come with access to the on-site Alexam Wellness centre, which is currently under construction, and will come complete with mineral baths, a cold plunge pool, sauna facilities, a steam room, and tranquil relaxation zones.

ARCO apartment buyer Doug purchased one of the apartments in the development in November.

“I’ve absolutely loved living here, it’s got a real wow factor. We’ve got stone benchtops and fantastic appliances. When friends come over, they comment on how fantastic it is,” Doug said.

“Footscray is amazing, we live 150m from Middle Footscray station, it’s just four stops and you’re in the city in 20 minutes. You’re also only 4-5 minutes down the road from some fantastic restaurants.”

Ray White Williamstown director Joanne Royston said interest in the ARCO apartments has been coming from a diverse range of buyers.

“We’ve had single purchasers, downsizers, and young professionals who live locally wanting low maintenance in a great location. But we’ve also had an enquiry on the penthouse from a young family as well,” Joanne said.

“Buyers are attracted to the location, the lifestyle offered with inner city living, and the low maintenance of the apartments. It appeals to a whole variety of buyers.”
