Auction for a good cause

Sales agent Matthew Wade-Taylor (pictured in image centre left, with Barwon Health chair Dan Simmonds and the buyers, right) said it was a charity auction for the Barwon Health Fund, with bidding starting at $680,000.

“It was a brand new build,” he said.

“The developer, Bisinella Development, donated the land to Barwon Health and Hamlan Homes built the home, everything in the home was donated.

“The whole thing was built for the Barwon Health Fund.

“The buyers were a local couple who were downsizing.”
