Award-winning home hits the market

Harris Kitchens cabinet maker Brady Harris and his wife Brie bought the block of land via Ray White Richmond’s Cindy Cash back in 2021. Now, after completing the build on the three-bedroom home, they have re-listed it with Cindy once again.

“We sold our previous house with Cindy as well,” Brady said.

“We were originally going to renovate that one but we when we stacked up the costs we decided it would be better to buy a block of land and build something from scratch.

“When we first bought the land Brie and I said ‘let’s not get carried away with it’, but we did get a bit carried away!

“I have a background in the building industry, so I sketched up a bit of a plan and a layout of what we wanted and took it to an architect to bring it to life.

“We went through Cunningham Custom Homes for the build, which was completed in 2024.”

The home went on to win the Master Builders Excellence in Housing and Pools award in 2024, as well as the Housing Industry Association award for NSW Region Custom Build up to $800,000.

“I think the quality of the build as well as its being creative and trendy led to the awards,” Brady said.

“It’s open plan so it has a lot of flow, it has a really big feel to it. It’s very on trend and has a lot of cool features such as a cinema room, a sauna, and a huge entertaining area.

“I did the kitchen and all the joinery myself.”

Cindy said the home would suit both families and downsizers looking for the perfect entertainers home.
