When did you first become interested in becoming an auctioneer, and why?
I started thinking about it more seriously over the past year. I always want to expand my skills and continue growing in my career and I think it's a great asset to be able to conduct the auctions myself.
What do you enjoy most about it?
The adrenaline rush of the auction is fun, and the final sold call is always a good feeling.
What are your tips for others who might like to give auctioneering a go?
Definitely give it a crack! Have a mentor, watch lots of different auction videos to familiarise yourself with the process, and adopt your own personal style.
Why do you believe in the auction method?
The auction method is the only method of sale that forces buyers to make quick decisions when there is momentum and competition, which is something you just can't achieve with a private sale in the same timeframe on the day.
Why should sellers choose to go to auction?
The auction method is transparent for sellers. They can be sure in knowing that they've achieved the best possible price and an unconditional contract.

Know your budget and be confident with your bidding.
