The Gold Coast Auction Experience highlighted the leading auction group's commitment to process and camaraderie among its offices, and saw more than $40 million worth of property transacted with 201 eager buyers registering to bid on the day.

The top auction result of the day was 80 Bromfield Dr, Bonogin, which sold for $1.75 million through Ray White Burleigh Group’s Lisa Bourne (pictured below). Ms Bourne said the winning bidder will be going through the house for the first time this afternoon.

"It's a brand-new, high-quality build. The sellers planned to stay long-term, but with a chance to be closer to their growing family and splitting their year between Australia and the Greek islands, they decided to make the move," Ms Bourne said.

“We had two bidders pre-registered, and two more jumped in on auction day - one hadn’t even seen the house and ended up being the eventual buyer. The photos alone wowed him into bidding.”

Ray White Queensland chief auctioneer Gavin Croft (pictured top right with fellow auctioneer David McMahon) oversaw the bidding and said the Gold Coast market was spoiled for choice yesterday with apartments, entry level homes and luxury homes.

"It was a day where buyers at all levels were well catered for, and the competition was fierce across all price points,” Mr Croft said.

“We saw strong engagement throughout the day, ultimately achieving a 60 per cent clearance rate. This success was bolstered by the participation of over 200 active bidders, while more than 2,000 people followed the auctions either in-room or online, reflecting the broad interest in the market.

“It was a wonderful initiative and an excellent example of teamwork, with the Ray White offices across the Gold Coast coming together in a collaborative effort.

“The success of the day highlights the strength of the local market and the professionalism of our team in ensuring that both buyers and sellers experienced a seamless and dynamic auction environment."
