Is this Australia’s most impressive workshop?

After five years, Melbourne couple Deb and Joe Pegoraro are ready to downsize from their Epping home which features a fully-tiled workshop where they have run a successful motorcycle company.

The epic workshop, at 22 Axebridge Circuit, has been Mr Pegoraro’s “pride and joy” which he has used to custom build Harley Davidson motorbikes.

Ray White Wollert director Mike Assaad is marketing the four bedroom property on 936sqm of land for the Pegoraros with a price guide of $900,000 to $990,000.

Mr Assaad said the property was perfect for someone who had a passion for cars, boats or caravans.

“There’s plenty of car space at the front of the home with an electric gate for added security, but the main draw card is the massive workshop that is equipped for anything you need,” Mr Assaad said.

Mr Pegoraro said has been in the business of building bikes for the last 25 to 30 years.

“The bikes I build are made in rose gold for clients around the world including Dubai, China, India and Canada.

“They range in price but can be sold for up to $180,000 each.”

The workshop has an 8kW split system for heating and cooling, an industrial dust fan, and a built-in sound system.

A rear store room with loft access allows for more storage space for tools, equipment, or business supplies.

“It’s kind of like a secret garage, you have to go from the carport to get to this big one,” Mr Pegoraro said.

Mr Pegoraro and his wife are ready to downsize and said the huge family home would appeal to another family looking to run a business on-site.

“You could run a hair salon, a boutique or a workshop building small items,” Mr Pegoraro said.

“The house has been fully renovated inside and outside. There’s nothing more to do, other than move in!”

Mrs Pegoraro described the home as “cosy and low maintenance”.

“With eight grandchildren, we have enjoyed many celebrations here including birthdays and Christmas gatherings,” she said.

“Some of the grandkids are into soccer and love riding their bikes - it’s perfect because there’s a park right across from us.”
