Ray White Queensland celebrates its 2024 winners

Some 1550 members from across Ray White Queensland attended the 2023-24 annual awards held at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane last night.

Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew said the group was proudly celebrating 100 years of operation in Brisbane.

“The White family has taught us to look forward - to relentlessly pursue our ambition. Our ambition here in Queensland; to be the best in market, which as we get closer paradoxically gets further away,” Mr Andrew said.

“The 23/24 financial year saw Queensland realise a market value of $107 billion. Our share of what is available to us, known of course as market share, is now 16.86 per cent.

“We sold 22,559 homes and conducted 6,851 auctions in Queensland. We earned the name competition creators, averaging 5.2 registered bidders per auction; clearing at 69.7 per cent.

“We have 48,952 properties under management. The level of engagement of our property manager’s must be remarked upon. Your insatiable appetite to continually improve by coming together is an inspiration to us all.

“We made 2.3 million calls using NurtureCloud, logging 91,000 appraisals. Our insights give us clarity and conviction that our currency is and must continue to be leads and that doubling down on our unfair competitive advantage remains one of our greatest opportunities.

“These headline figures deserve plaudance, but Brian White always says; celebrate - but not for too long. Tonight gives us that opportunity.”

The most prestigious award of the night is the Max White Award, which is given each year to an individual who had made the most significant contribution to the Ray White Group in Queensland.

In its 44th year, the Max White Award went to Alistair Macmillan of Ray White Wilston.

“Al ran a data and lead generation business long before it was in vogue. He built an auction business that set new standards in structure, process and style. All of this while achieving the lofty heights of Chairman’s Elite status personally and also as a business. Al is not just a member of Ray White Queensland, he has become a part of the fabric of our family operation," Mr Andrew said.

Ray White New Farm once again took out the top spot as the number one Ray White office in the state by settled commission, plus No 3 in the international rankings for Ray White.

The powerhouse agency, headed up by Matt Lancashire and Haesley Cush comes under the Ray White Collective banner, which was named the Top Business by settled commission again. Ray White Collective includes offices across New Farm, Bulimba, Toowong and Clayfield.

Haesley Cush (pictured above) spoke on behalf of the entire Collective team and thanked the family and reflected on his 28 year journey with Ray White.

“I consider it a privilege that I have worked and grown up under the White family’s leadership. This is our 19th year at Ray White New Farm and my 28th year at Ray White awards. For those of you in the far corners of this room, that is where we sat for most of the time.

“Tonight, like every awards night, holds a special spot in the memory bank. I want to pay a sincere and heartfelt thanks to the great team at Ray White Collective from Matt and I. I want to thank you all for the continued support and that you continue to stand up. The energy that we create together by pushing and challenging each other is a big part of the magic. We know we are not perfect but we hunt those imperfections. We know that we can improve but we can’t ever concede on consistency or ethic. As a group we are fiercely determined to continue to improve. Our gains will come from continuing to face the mirror rather than look outside the window and blame others.. Matt Lancashire was not only ranked the No 5 principal by settled commission internationally but number one principal in the settled commission category within the Queensland network.

The business also won the top Operations/Administration Team of the Year too, with the team headed up by the amazing Leesa Paull.

Brad Wilson of Ray White Coomera won top Principal by number of sales. Ray White One Group won the Excellence in Marketing Office award. Damon Warat of Ray White Ascot won the Excellence in Marketing - Individual award.

The unstoppable Rochelle Adgo of Ray White Mitchelton was named the number one salesperson in the Queensland network by settled commission and No 2 international salesperson by settled commission.

Ryan Suhle of Ray White North Lakes was awarded the top salesperson - number of sales and No 2 International Salesperson - Number of Sales.

Meanwhile, the unstoppable Ray White Townsville office was named the Top Office for number of sales in Queensland and No 1 International Office - Number of Sales.

The Ray White One Group, which includes Aspley | Bracken Ridge | Everton Park | IMS | Newport | Sandgate | Scarborough | Springfield | Warner, were named as the leading business for number of sales.

The Ray White Rochedale office was ranked the Top Auction Excellence Office, while Brad Wilson was named the Top Auction Agent. Ray White West End took home the new Competition Creators award.

In the Clients’ Choice category, Ray White Toowoomba, Ray White Caloundra and Ray White Bundaberg once again ranked in the top three in the state.

Kelly Weller from Ray White Bundaberg, John Price of the Bargara office and Kathryn Willshire from Ray White Buderim were awarded in the Individual Clients’ Choice awards.
