A Little Ray of Giving is Ray White’s annual Christmas charity initiative which is primarily focused on offices giving back to their local communities through a charity of their choice, by collecting and making donations.

Last year, Ray White introduced Little Ray the elf as the mascot of the campaign. Little Ray is back again for another year along with customised A Little Ray of Giving santa hats for members to wear.

We asked some of our offices who they're supporting this year and what an initiative like A Little Ray of Giving means to them.

This Ray White office takes the prize for cutest mascot for their Little Ray of Giving campaign. Granddaughter of Ray White Batemans Bay administrator Katrina Kay, baby Marlee (pictured above) has stolen the star from the office’s Christmas tree, and the spotlight with it.

This year, the team, who are spread across three south coast New South Wales offices, is supporting The Salvation Army.

“A Little Ray of Giving is so important to our community. We are able to help make a big difference in the lives of those in need. And no matter how much you can afford, it all makes a difference,” Katrina said.

“Life can be difficult sometimes, but remembering we are all in this together can help the less fortunate feel more like an active part of our community.

“We have many disadvantaged members in our community and the Salvation Army helps the hungry, homeless, abandoned or abused. They transform lives for the better through donations, big and small, from our community members.”

This year, the Ray White South Perth office has partnered with the Starick Foundation for their A Little Ray of Giving Christmas campaign.

Starick Foundation is a charity that predominantly operates in Perth’s south eastern metropolitan region, with a focus on supporting victims of domestic and family violence.

Starick offers a refuge service for women and children who may be in need, as well as counselling, transitional housing, educational and health and wellbeing services.

“We believe that the Starick Foundation's hard work makes a real difference, and we hope that our donation can help bring smiles to the faces of those who need it most during the festive season,” principal Jannine Blum said.

“Our local communities truly appreciate the time and effort we invest in our A Little Ray of Giving fundraiser, and local businesses are always the first to put their hand up and help however they can. We’re hoping to bring joy to their holiday season.

“Every gift, big or small, will go a long way in helping families enjoy a more memorable Christmas.”
